I constructed a survey to analyse responses from the target teen audiences and gain a concept of how the audience may view our plot. I included my synopsis and introductory questions to see if any of the questions differed between genders or ages. it was evident that more females completed the survey, proving the problem of bias towards gender. yet, our target audience filled in the survey, showing us what they think. Additionally, all people who answered agreed that our film plot was suitable for a teen audience. lastly, the last question included in the survey was an open question which enables people to give their own interpretation of what should be used in the opening.
Synopsis:
"This movie is about a young, religious, lonely orphan named Rosie who's parents were killed in a house fire a few months back, however mysteriously Rosie survived through the tragedy. A unknown relative of Rosie sends a doll house that once belonged to her mother, which Rosie thought was destroyed. She decides to dress the dolls up as the children who live in the orphanage and begins to play with them. As time progresses, the actions of the dolls and the things that Rosie makes them do begin to correlate with the children in real life."
